The Woodbrook Neighborhood Blog was established in June 2009 to bring attention to a proposed road from the Arden Place development into the Woodbrook Subdivision in Charlottesville, VA. Originally the communications arm of the Woodbrook Community Association, it became an independent publication later that year when the WCA decided to go another way.
Since then the blog has published over 100 articles of interest to Woodbrook residents, including; the Arden Place development, the grade separated interchange at Rio Road, and the 2016 expansion of Woodbrook Elementary School. Included are several recorded interviews with local politicians as well as police and county officials. A collection of Woodbrook photos rounds out our coverage of this beautiful neighborhood.
We are grateful to the Woodbrook community for their continued support and their many kind remarks over the years. It is an honor to serve our community in this way.
The Woodbrook Neighborhood Blog is written by Woodbrook residents Dan and Beth Gould.
